A refined citrus-forward spritz

Anecdote
Clementine Churchill was the kind of woman who could soften a room—or end a conversation—with a single sentence. Warm but incisive, sunny without being naïve, she understood that brightness can still carry bite.

The Clementine Spritz follows suit: vivid Cara Cara orange, gently bitter, effortlessly composed. Proof that elegance doesn’t need to shout—and citrus doesn’t need to be sweet.

• 2 oz Paramour Cara Cara Orange
• 3 oz dry prosecco
• 1 oz soda water
• Optional: ¼ oz fresh lemon juice (for extra snap)
• Orange peel or Cara Cara wheel

Build
Fill a large wine glass with ice. Add Paramour Cara Cara, top with prosecco and soda, and give a light stir. Express an orange peel over the glass and drop it in.

Vibe: radiant, balanced, quietly commanding
ABV: 12%

Our muse, Violet Trefusis didn’t do subtle.

She did longing, drama, and love letters soaked in perfume—often lavender—sent to women she absolutely was not supposed to be in love with.

The Violet Spritz is inspired by that same tension: floral but sharp, sweet but a little dangerous. A proper lemonade… with improper intentions.

• 2 oz Paramour Lavender Yuzu (or Lavender)
• 2 oz hard lemonade
• 2 oz prosecco
• 1 oz soda water
• Lemon wheel
• Optional: lavender sprig or dried lavender pinch

Fill a wine glass with ice. Add Paramour Lavender, hard lemonade, and prosecco. Top with soda and give a gentle stir. Garnish with lemon and lavender.

Vibe: floral, tart, romantically reckless

A brighter, softer take on the classic Hugo Spritz

Before Victor Hugo became Victor Hugo, there was Adèle—the woman holding the household together while genius, drama, and very long manuscripts happened around her. History remembers the novels; we’re choosing to remember the woman behind the scenes.

The Adele Spritz is our quiet tribute: light, floral, effortlessly elegant, and far more refreshing than a brooding French novelist. It’s the kind of drink you sip while letting someone else be dramatic.

A clean, floral, and effortlessly at home

You’ll Need

• 2 oz gin or vodka (gin = botanical, vodka = silkier)
• 1 oz Paramour Elderflower
• 1 oz lychee juice (from canned lychees, strained)
• ½ oz fresh lemon juice (optional, but recommended for balance)

Shake
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake hard for 10–12 seconds.

Serve
Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a skewered lychee or a thin lemon twist.

Accuracy notes:

• Lychee juice from cans varies in sweetness
• Do not use the whole lychee syrup and sugar
• Gin lovers: choose something floral-forward (think rose or citrus botanicals). Vodka keeps the lychee center stage.

Vibe: delicate, perfumed, dangerously drinkable
ABV: classic martini strength, soft landing

You’ll Need

• 2 oz vodka
• 1 oz fresh espresso, hot (see note)
• 1 oz Paramour Cara Cara Orange

Shake
Add vodka, espresso, and Paramour Cara Cara to a shaker with plenty of ice. Shake hard for 12–15 seconds (you’re chilling and building the crema-like foam).

Serve
Double-strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora. Garnish with 3 coffee beans or a thin expressed orange peel.

Accuracy notes (so it actually works at home):

• Using hot espresso is fine—the hard shake with lots of ice chills it quickly and creates foam.
• If your espresso is older than ~1–2 minutes, you’ll usually get less foam. Freshly pulled helps.
• “No sugar” here means no added sugar/syrup—your sweetness comes from Paramour Cara Cara. (If you include coffee liqueur, it will add sugar unless you find a rare unsweetened option.)

want it less boozy / more orange-forward, do: 1.5 oz vodka + 1 oz espresso + 1.5 oz Cara Cara.

• 1 oz Paramour Elderflower
• 1 oz lychee juice (from canned lychees, strained)

Accuracy notes:

• Lychee juice from cans varies in sweetness—if yours is very sweet, keep the lemon; if it’s lighter, you can skip it.
• Do not use the whole lychee syrup and sugar—this recipe is designed to stay clean and not cloying.
• Gin lovers: choose something floral-forward (think rose or citrus botanicals). Vodka keeps the lychee center stage.

A grown-up lavender lemonade with teeth

You'll Need

• 2 oz Paramour Lavender Yuzu (or Lavender)
• 3 oz hard lemonade
• ½ oz fresh lemon juice
• Optional: 1 oz soda water (for a lighter finish)
• Lemon wheel
• Lavender sprig or dried lavender pinch

A softer, fruit-forward Old Fashioned—no bitters, just depth

You’ll Need

• 2 oz bourbon or rye (bourbon = rounder, rye = drier)
• ¾ oz Paramour Cara Cara Orange (standing in for bitters + sweetness)
• ½ oz pear juice (fresh or high-quality bottled, unsweetened)
• Orange peel
• Optional: pear slice (thin)

Build
Add a large ice cube to a rocks glass. Pour in the whiskey, Paramour Cara Cara, and pear juice. Stir gently for 15–20 seconds to chill and integrate. Express an orange peel over the glass and drop it in. Garnish with a pear slice if using.

Why this works (accuracy):

• Cara Cara provides citrus oils, gentle bitterness, and sweetness, replacing traditional bitters and simple syrup.
• Pear juice adds roundness and body without spiking sugar or overpowering the base spirit.
• Keeping the pear at ½ oz preserves Old Fashioned structure—more than that turns it into a sour-adjacent drink.

Profile: warm citrus, soft caramel notes, subtle orchard fruit
ABV: classic Old Fashioned strength, smoother finish
